Part-Time Graphic Designer

We’re here to help educators nurture students' critical thinking skills and prepare young minds for college and career. The education space is in the midst of change, with new standards and assessments rolling out across the nation. It's our job to help current and prospective customers make sense of this landscape. As such, we're looking for a part-time graphic designer who can work with our team to translate complex education concepts for our target audiences: teachers, administrators, students, and parents. While this position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will work closely with all aspects of the business to develop creative ideas and concepts. Projects will include both print and Web visuals, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, online graphics, PDFs, infographics, video, and social media. We need a designer who thinks strategically about the medium at hand, choosing the most appropriate solution to meet our established objectives.


  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Success teams to translate complex concepts into compelling marketing materials and presentations
  • Work collaboratively with our in-house Visual Designer to develop effective, dynamic, and thoughtful creative that adheres to branding standards
  • Proactively provide innovative ideas and design solutions in support of ThinkCERCA's  overall objectives and initiatives
  • Facilitate the creative development of new projects from start to finish
  • Provide quality assurance for all creative deliverables
  • Research and stay abreast of current design trends and new technologies 


  • Ability to work 15 hours a week in our River North, Chicago offices
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Likes to work on multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Appreciation for the value of design and customer experience in solving problems inherent within the education system
