Proposal Project Manager - Part Time

To help us get there, we’re looking for a part time project manager of our RFP (request for proposal) process, who will be responsible for finding appropriate RFPs, managing the RFP process, and delivering proposals in response to the RFP in a timely manner.  This position will work closely with our School Partnerships team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writes responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Manages the scope of the work, including but not limited to, developing the proposal shell, identifying and structuring relevant key sections, and assigning responsibilities and due dates to appropriate team members.
  • Develops template and rough draft materials for school partnership team.
  • Manages a schedule and work plan which includes the relevant activities, ownership, outcomes, and timelines.
  • Leads RFP/project meetings, coordinates proposal process, reviews drafts, and responds to letters of inquiry with RFP granting institution.
  • Communicates with and monitors internal team to ensure deliverables are being provided on time and in conformity with RFP requirements.
  • Edits documents for grammar, style, and content.
  • Assimilates materials into a final presentation to ensure a complete, professional package.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Formatting for consistency and polish.

Job Requirements

  • At least two years of experience developing and submitting proposals.
  • Project management experience is desired, but not required.
  • Ability to work on short-term projects with deadlines, while managing multiple tasks and collaborate with team members.
  • Excellent editing and organizational skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidential client information.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
